Not only is the Harvester home to a thriving artist community, but also a thriving garden run by the residents. The Harvester Garden Committee and residents plant, care for and harvest 36 garden boxes every year.
The boxes spill over with vegetables, flowers, herbs, and more every year. The gardeners care for our leafy friends and share the fruits of their labor with the rest of the building. Some years residents get together for cookouts and enjoy their harvest around the fire.
We're all looking forward to what beautiful, delicious and nutritious things the gardening crew will create this year! Stay tuned for a garden overhaul this Spring.
